Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Multiple reviews highlighted poor customer service, particularly from specific staff members, with reports of rudeness and lack of attentiveness.

I did a curbside order for breakfast. I got 2 breakfast items that were correct but the 2 burgers meals I got were not correct. One burger didn't have cheese like it should and the other one was a jalapeno cheeseburger missing the jalapenos 😔 Needless to say, this was disappointing and I didn't have time to have them fix it. The lady that brought our order out went to the driver's side and stood there with bags in hand even though there was clearly no one in the driver's seat to take it from her. This left me leaning over the center console to roll the window down. Smh. Could have been a better experience

My grilled chicken was burnt on one side. I had to peel off one side of the cutlet to consume it. Soda machine is great though.

They always serve the food cold, that's why I don't like Whataburger. The other day I bought one and it was cold, and the fries were cold too.
