Was absolutely humiliated when my mom and I were chased down and told we had to leave the store. My service dog IN THE PET DEPOT smelled where another dog just urinated and tried to do the same…I stopped her and it was hardly anything but me being miss do the right thing went and found the sweetheart of a woman coming with the mop and told her what happened. I would have cleaned it myself! 10 minutes later here comes a snobby woman telling us we have to leave the store. It’s already hard enough being disabled! Takes everything in me to even go to the grocery store. There was no empathy or kindness. When I called to speak to a manager to ask if that is really there policy I was cut off and told that corporate said that the health depot said. My service dog has NEVER used the restroom in a store. He stated “not when they are properly trained. They are trained to go before or after”, and do I want The number for corporate. There was 0 empathy at all. I’m so disgusted as we usually sing HEB praises but not the one in Boerne. He also asked do I want him to check the cameras to see if the other lady with a dog was also asked to leave? What the heck do I care!? You are already humiliated us. If my dog took a shit in the produce section MAYBE I could understand….had I ignored it and not told anyone that she drizzled a few spots of pee…okay…that wasn’t the case. I don’t care if you are from Boerne get some class and empathy like your sweet Young employees who were so kind: kiddos the one star goes to you few.

Yesterday afternoon, I went in to pay off my sisters balance for her wedding florals. While trying to do this, there was an issue with my debit card. The cashier gave me a few minutes to figure out the issue and it did take a while, but we ended up figuring it out.
During this span of time my 7 year old son was standing next to the black line dividers and as a 7 year old does, he started to mess with the divider. We immediately corrected the behavior, however the cashier also told him something, which was inappropriate as we were clearly already handling it. She was kind about it so I shrugged it off. We instructed my son to put the divider back together and move to the other side.
However, Sue came out of the back just as he was fixing it, walked up to my son, snatched the rope out of his hand and said “this is why we don’t touch things” in a very nasty tone to my son. Not only was it inappropriate to correct my child while we were actively correcting him, but it was extremely inappropriate to speak to him in the tone that she used. As a customer who was making a large ($1000+) transaction, we are strongly reconsidering going through with using your location for florals after this interaction as it was extremely off putting. My son is special needs and it’s hard enough to go out in public anyway, but I assure you, he did not deserve to be embarrassed by either employee. He definitely didn’t deserve to be spoken to the way Sue spoke to him. It was unnecessary and extremely inappropriate.

I love my HEB but I have to warn people, don’t use curbside, it is far longer of a wait than it’s worth.

I love HEB, but after my one and only experience here today, I think I'd rather drive a little farther to go to a different one. Customer service could have been so much better. I actually returned some stuff because I decided I don't need to spend my money here at this specific HEB.
The only reason I'm leaving two stars is because I love HEB as a brand, just won't be back to this store.
