Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- DDDebraApr 7, 20261.0I'm not sure what's going on this evening at Bellmead Whataburger, but I ordered a Chicken Fajita Taco there last night which was delicious, so I ordered another one tonight in the drive-thru, and it was just nasty. The vegetables were black, slimy and tasted like old grease. I had also gotten a WhataCatch fish sandwich that I had opened to eat on the ride home that had four postage stamp sized pieces of lettuce and the bottom end of the tomato that goes in the trash on it. The manager was nice enough to replace the sandwich when I took it right back in, but that fish tasted like old grease, as well. I wish I would have checked the chicken, but I had no idea that it wouldn't be as good as the day before. Everything went in the garbage along with the money I spent. Not acceptable folks.
