Been eatting here for years. Now the change. Salsa changed. Bad move. Fajitas no longer have bell peppers or the nicely roasted pepper. Waiter explained, but I won't go back ever.

I would like to start by saying i have loved on the border from my earliest memories all the way to my 30s and never once had a complaint. Whether I went there by myself for a drink or with family or on a date they have never disappointed me, but they changed everything up without sayong anything or even updating the menus. The new salsa is disgusting. GROSS! Everything i order there i won't really enjoy without some kind of salsa and now the salsa they have is nasty.. what ever happened to if it ain't broke dont fix it? Not to mention the quality of meat on my fajita nachos went way down hill. Theyve changed drink recipes meal recipes and even the appetizers are not the same. The worst part is they dont even tell you. You figure it out when you bite into a bland mediocre all around sad excuse of a meal. Its not the workers faults but they ruined that whole chain of restaurants! Someone somewhere made a big mistake and im pretty sure im not the only one that feels this way.. I used to go every week and went yesterday for the first time in a month or 2 and ive never been more disgusted in my life at what is supposed to be a nice restaurant... there was a time when I would fight people over saying anything bad about my on the border, but yall lost a customer today. Good luck to you but yall ruined your restaurant!

Ordered some Guac To-Go and got plain mashed Avocado… for $10. Also, the new warm salsa (yuck) and queso aren’t OTB. I miss the old recipes and flavors, and the giant chips of OTB. Papasitos takeover ruined just the basic chips and dips. An absolute thumbs down boo from me. 👎🏻

I’ve been a huge fan of On The Border for 20 years. But now? Ick. All of the changes are terrible. The changing of the salsa? Who signed off on that?! It is revolting. The queso tastes like Cheez Whiz. Normally their fajita salad is what I get because it’s consistently been the best. Oof, not this time. Instead of a side plate of sizzling fajitas and onions, it was some lukewarm strips of “fajita” already placed on the salad and the meat tasted almost sour. In fact, sour was the prevailing taste of everything. Our waiter could not have been more kind and attentive, though. Never a problem with the staff! After 2 decades of almost weekly OTB visits, this was our last.
