The peppers are often wrinkled, and the chicken is frequently a day away from expiration. It’s gotten to the point where I have to double-check best-by dates on everything, even bread. It used to be that items close to their best-by date were clearly marked with a yellow discount sticker. That system was helpful because customers could make informed choices. Now there’s no warning, no clear indication, and no visible price reduction. If prices are fluctuating dynamically, quality control and transparency should be a priority. Right now, it feels like customers are paying more while getting less consistency in freshness. I hope management addresses this.

I love the quality of the food, especially the meat department. I often hear friends and acquaintances say they don’t shop here because it’s too expensive, but that hasn’t been my experience. I’m very good at finding great deals, using coupons through the app, and being a long-time member definitely has its perks. My ongoing issue has always been customer service—especially over the phone or through the app. Many times, it feels like representatives dislike what they do or simply don’t care about truly helping. That’s why Laurie deserves major kudos. She took the time to find suitable replacements for my order and was responsive and attentive to my messages. Having an employee like her is a true asset to the company. When substitutions aren’t approved or don’t satisfy the customer, it ultimately means a loss for the business—and Laurie clearly understands that. Thank you again, Laurie, for your excellent service.
