  Been to different Pappas restaurants over the years throughout Texas. First time to this Pappadeaux location. Was conveniently close to lots of hotels to which we were staying at one. Lots of parking, and fairly easy interstate access in and out. From arrival till we left, we felt very welcomed and appreciated for being there. Deviated from the usual items we got and decided on the blackened catfish platter with red beans and rice and the fried shrimp and catfish platter with fries. As an appetizer, ordered a half dozen raw gulf oysters, which after arrived to our table, were the size to equal a dozen. The oysters came with the usual cocktail sauce and horseradish, a chimichurri style sauce and what seemed like a vinegar with chopped onion sauce. All were very good with the oysters. The servings of the two platters were enough that we probably could’ve shared. But still ate most of each plate and both of us pretty full. They offer some amazing looking cheesecake that we wished would’ve ordered first, but didn’t have the room for it afterwards. Overall a great experience.

  Just unacceptable at all cost. No way they put this on a plate and turned the burned side and decided to serve me. Lord, I’m just going to cook at the house. Saul you were great, service impeccable. Whoever is in the kitchen needs to be training again.

  Our waiter, Ziff, was an absolute standout. His warm, welcoming personality made us feel right at home from the very start. What truly impressed us was his deep knowledge of the menu. Ziff walked us through the dishes with genuine enthusiasm and helped us make choices for the evening. We ordered the steak and sea bass dish (seasonal), and it was nothing short of incredible. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

  Awesome device and food . Been out of town for a year and was missing my Pappadeaux's fix ! Never disappoints ! The grandkids had the full loaded baked potatoe and fried shrimp and fish . I had the dozen of oysters 🦪 and the Chilean au gratin sea bass with spinach served with rice and broccolini . So YUM ! Son had something I don't recall ... but we ate it all and had some leftovers !

  On a trip across the south picked this randomly only later realizing it is a chain. Pleasantly surprised by both food, service and ambiance. Had the: * garlic bread (excellent but frankly too much!), * grilled octopus appetizer - excellent! * Shrimp and redfish platter - was really good * Seafood pasta - also really good. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and the location was large but not noisy so had an overall great experience. Would come back again.
