Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- NMNoel Murphy4 days ago5.0I don’t live in Texas but every time I see a sign for Whataburger, I have to have myself a burger. The burger is always consistent with taste. I know when I’m ordering a burger, I’m getting real beef. You can taste it‼️ The best fast food burger restaurant. No other burger place comes close‼️ The name is fitting for this place. WHAT-A-BURGER‼️ We were greeted by a worker last night asked us soon as we walked in. A few minutes later a manager. You could tell she was a manager because she gave positive orders to workers there to be on time and let her know ahead of time when to take time off. I thought the way she approached it was motherly and caring. Also when she asked us for our name she made a joke about how much sauce we ordered and we chuckled and all the sauce was in the bag. Lol. What I observed, they care about how the customers and the food. Nowadays, you don’t get a great customers service. I can go on and on about this place but you get the idea what I’m trying to say.

The problem is every Whataburger including this one I have been too take way too long to give you your food. Service has slowed and now I know if I want to eat Whataburger it will be a huge wait. Average drive thru and inside wait time is 15-25 minutes. This is supposed to be fast food. If Chic-fil-a can handle more volume then y'all with two lanes open then you all should have no issue. A lot of companies will also say they are having staffing issues and too many call-offs so they are doing the best they can do. If this is the case then just shut down until you can properly staff yourselves or at the very least post signage your running on limited staff/cut menu options that will streamline your business. something has to give or Whataburger will lose more customers than just me.
