  Disappointed Experience at Wendy’s – Texas 146, Baytown, TX I had a very disappointing experience at Wendy’s on Texas 146 in Baytown, TX. I was the only customer at the time and went through the drive-through, ordering just one burger and a Panko fish sandwich. Even though there was no line, I was told to pull forward and wait. After waiting about 20 minutes, I decided I no longer wanted the food and asked for a refund. The situation became even more frustrating from there. The manager appeared frumpy and unclean, which did not give a good impression of the store’s professionalism. When I asked for a refund, the manager with green hair and a nose bone ring said they could not process refunds. Another employee, a large-built man with long black hair, stated that he did not know the refund policy because he had not read the employee handbook because it was too big. I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. This lack of training and professionalism was surprising, especially considering I was the only customer waiting. I eventually had to contact another Wendy’s location to confirm that refunds should in fact be processed. Only after that conversation did they finally issue my refund. Overall, the service was extremely slow, the staff seemed untrained, and management did not appear professional. Based on this experience, I would recommend staying away from this location until there are improvements in staff training and management.

  Best tap Dr. Pepper in Beaumont. Fries were fresh and perfect. Wendy's burgers beat almost any chain out there.

  Food is great but definitely a language barrier if you speak English only. I would recommend ordering directly from the app if you only speak English. It's sad that the day has come when speaking English, you cannot communicate properly with those taking your order.
