  Miranda H is amazing. My dad just passed and she understood when I had tears in my eyes with my mom and sister. She helped us order and she helped my mom pay without shame. She was trying to pay cash and card and she understood and helped my mother

  This one is close to home. Glad we found it. Food very good. House margaritas very smooth. Quality and quantity of food excellent. Fast service getting the food to your table. Server very attentive. The only thing is price. I still can't over the increase since 2021. But so far this is about the best all-round restaurant in our area. Nice fireplace and rustic decor.

  Had an amazing experience. Makayden was our server. And let me tell you what best service i have had in a very long time. I had the brisket burger and i recommend it for anyone that enjoys bbq burger. My wife has the urban cowboy along with a strawberry spinach salad. The steak was juicy and tender and the sauce was a perfect pairing. The salad was her favorite salad she has had yet. . Food was amazing. This is our second time ever going to a salt grass. The food along with our server made us officially put this on our date night list.

  This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. It took an extremely long time just to get water. We ordered appetizers and intentionally waited about 15 minutes before ordering our entrées so we could enjoy the appetizers first. However, the appetizers took so long that our salads came out at the same time. I told the server we wanted to wait on the salads until after the appetizers, but instead of remaking them, they were clearly set aside. When we finished the appetizers, our entrées arrived—even though we still hadn’t received the salads. The entrées had to be taken back, and when the salads finally arrived, they were already soggy. When the entrées were brought out again, the sides looked like they had been sitting under a heat lamp. My Brussels sprouts were unpleasant and inedible. My wife’s filet was a poor cut of meat and completely raw. On top of all this, it took 25 minutes just to receive a bottle of wine. What makes this even more disappointing is that the Garth Rd location was fairly empty, so I would have expected much better service. To make matters worse, the appetizers seemed like they had been sitting for a while as well—the tenderloin bites and range rattlers were barely warm, not hot.

  We eat out a lot and tonight we had two options tonight, Cheddars or Saltgrass. I chose Saltgrass because the food and service are normally excellent. Unfortunately, tonight we experienced the worse service we have had. Our server took a extremely long time to greet us so they sent us a different server. We ordered our food with our drinks because of the long wait, we had decided to share a meal since we weren't too hungry. Our actual server brings our salads and drinks then asks if we ordered our food. We tell him yes and goes in to tell us he would have to check because he didn't see our order entered. We shared a 20 oz steak meal because we weren't too hungry and we think that is why our service was so terrible. Our salads came light, we never got our complimentary bread, the server took my salad plate before I was even done, my husband asked for steak sauce it was never brought out, our drinks were never refilled. I am a former server so we always give a very generous tip even though our bill was low. My husband wouldn't have had any problem tipping at minimum $20 (34% tip) because we support servers that much. I wanted to tell the server that he missed out on a really good tip but I figured he wouldn't care because he probably makes good tips, I even thought about saying something but the service was already really shitty I can just image how I would have been treated if I complained. I really hope they see this and do better because we're fortunate enough to afford a dinner like that but we used to be the ones that saved up for a nice dinner like that and I feel bad if people are being given bad service because of that.
