The item they were “out of.” When I asked, the girl smirked like she just won a championship in laziness. And the food-prep person? Wearing gloves… while holding her phone having a whole conversation with the other hand. I guess “food safety” is just a suggestion now. No wonder there are Paneras closing left & right, customer service clocked out before the staff did.
