Unfortunately, my recent experience was extremely disappointing. I placed a carry-out order, and when I got home and opened my bowl, I found a piece of blond hair tangled in my guacamole 🤬. I immediately covered the bowl, returned to the restaurant, and explained what happened. The cashier’s response was very nonchalant—she didn’t apologize and simply said, “We can make you another.” I declined and requested a refund, while also suggesting that hairnets be worn for better hygiene. What made this even more concerning is that I was able to identify the staff member whose hair it likely was, as she was the only one with that hair color. She was serving food without a hairnet, and her hair was hanging forward outside of her cap while preparing food for me and other customers. It’s frustrating when employees forget the importance of both food safety and customer service in this industry.
