  It's great to have another option for BBQ other than the usual choices here in Bastrop. No only is the food delicious (highly recommend the brisket nachos) but the atmosphere is on point. The convenience of it is a big deal to me as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Bie!

  Bri the cashier was very helpful, and kept the line moving quickly while still taking the time to ask customers ahead and behind me clarifying questions about their order. She was knowledgeable about the menu, answering my questions quickly. The food was also excellent, and was ready quickly. The drink station and tables in the restaurant were well kept, and stocked.

  I ordered a 2 meat plate with sausage and brisket. When I got my order I realized that I was missing my brisket, so I went back to the counter and asked about it. Not only did the lady at the counter apologize, but they gave me a new 2 meat plate with everything on it, and a banana pudding all for free. Wonder service for a simple mistake, I will be coming back for sure.

  Just had one of the best BBQ experiences I’ve had in a long time 🔥 From the moment I walked in, the smell alone told me I was in for something serious—but the food somehow still exceeded expectations. The brisket was perfectly smoked, tender, and packed with flavor. The ribs? Fall-off-the-bone perfection. And don’t even get me started on the sides… every single one tasted homemade and dialed in just right. But what really made the experience stand out was the service. Huge shoutout to Hailey—she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell she cares about the customers and takes pride in what she does, and it made the whole visit that much better. Great food is one thing, but when you combine it with that kind of energy and hospitality, it turns into an experience you actually remember. Definitely coming back. If you’re thinking about trying this place… do it. You won’t regret it.

  Pretty lackluster, ate here out of convenience before shopping our favorite grocery store. Wife's brisket sandwich was good. My brisket sausage plate not so much. Arrived at open and no fatty brisket available. Mine was very dry and sausage already sliced into little pieces was .....OK. crispy Chile green beans were completely oil soaked and cold. Greens were pretty good. Had to ask for water cups twice and not served bread, while easy enough to request again, we were pretty done with the experience. The do it yourself order kiosk is nonsense. We didn't have a challenge doing it, but if your not sure what you want, it would be very slow to surf the menu. We managed fine, but I would guess 7 of 10 folks coming in required staff to run the kiosk or took the order manually. HEB prides themselves on having their stuff wired tight. This was a 1 & done. Many better experiences to be had. Would much rather have had an Antone's sandwich out of the cooler.
