Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers frequently reported poor service, including long wait times, incorrect orders, and rude staff interactions.

Staff Performance

Value for Money

Whenever I come to Texas, Whataburger is one of my first stops. This is my first time at this location, and the service was fantastic. Everyone is so nice.

I love Whataburger but they are so overpriced now it's hard for me to eat there when I can go to P.Terry's and eat a burger and fries for under $7.

Normally a great spot to grab a burger.
**Avoid the trap of the promo day(s) where you can get a free or severely discounted burger.
Absolutely not worth an hour long+ wait and it was chaotic as heck. Orders being called, can’t hear them, too packed to find a seat, tables not cleaned often enough because staff was exhausted and overwhelmed. That being said the staff held it down and were rockstars considering the mass chaos.
