Stopped in for a quick lunch before shopping. I was very pleasantly surprised; THIS BBQ IS THE REAL DEAL. The meat is smoked with Post Oak on the premises and it smells heavenly….positively delicious. Honestly, it’s as good as any BBQ I’ve ever had and MUCH BETTER than most. Do yourself a favor: stop by and give it a try.
Way overpriced for TINY portions, we also wanted to be waited on by a human, and she forgot our potato, the tiny portions we DID get were too greasy, seasoning on the turkey is a bit spicy, we did NOT want spicy turkey! $24 for 3 little cups of meat? See pic how much bigger bowl of chili is than the 'meat cups'. Your money is much better spent at Southside Market for QUALITY & QUANTITY! Will NEVER be back!

We for the most part really enjoyed it! The staff was nice. There was an issue with the computers but they fixed it quickly. All the tables were dirty and needed to be wiped down. We got two 3 meat plates. Both sausages we had were luke warm at best. Loved both of the sauces. Flavor was great, maybe bring a little salt for the sides. We will be back!

Finally decided to stop by for lunch at 1:45 today. My husband and I were each going to get 3-meat plates. (Ribs, sausage, and brisket) The girl at checkout said “umm we are out of ribs…and sausage” so my husband said “ok cancel that we will just get 2 one meat plates..and the girl rolled her eyes and let out a huge sigh. There was no sign saying they were out of ribs or sausage. That kinda ruined my first trip to the new H‑E‑B bbq. The creamed corn was good though.. 😂

Fatty Brisket is out of this world! Burnt ends great, ribs a bit hot but good, potato salad is great, but the apple slaw was just okay. None of us like the collard greens, and we found the beans good but too salty. The cornbread is SWEET and the consistency of cake. My mom was convinced it was cake. 😄 The banana pudding was good. All in all, we enjoyed our food, and the atmosphere was very nice -- just please don't bring your buggy inside the restaurant. 😄
(ETA: Went back the next day to try some things we missed out on last night. The sausage, which was good, but a very small portion for $5, and the churro pudding was so cinnamon-heavy and sweet it was inedible for me (and I love cinnamon!) but the peach cobbler is WONDERFUL, though my daughter felt it didn't have enough peaches.)
