Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    Just picked up a 10 burger box from this What A Burger. The manager there runs a tight ship and it shows. Lobby was spotless, uniforms were tucked in and well kept, my order was ready on time and hot off the grill. The next time I want What A Burger I'll be driving from Lakeway. It's worth it. Kudos to the manager and her crew there.

    Ordered a pick up order for 5:55am for pick up in the drive thru, when we arrived the order hadn’t even been started. Waited 15 minutes for food that was pre-ordered with a pick up window. Employee was apologetic, claiming lack of staff but there was no one inside and only one car ahead of us, no reason the order shouldn’t have at least been in the works.

    Ordered a Spicy Crispy Cobb Salad, Big Ranch Wrap Meal, Whatawing Meal, #1 Whataburger meal and two chocolate chip cookies. When I got home, I noticed we were never given our two cookies 🍪. While eating my fiance found a cockroach 🪳 leg in her Spicy Crispy Cobb Salad, shes vomited and got very sick and was very shaken and upset by the incident and was crying that a bug was in her food. I don't know how it's possible a bug got placed in her food but after this incident we aren't going to be eating at Whataburger anymore.

    Made a curbside order with only 3 items, sat outside in curbside parking for a full 20 minutes, then I went through the drive thru. Just to wait even longer. In total I say for two whole hours before walking inside the building. One employee is behind the counter, another is ORDERING FOOD. Amongst their order she apologies “sorry for the inconvenience, if I was back there y'all would’ve been had your food”. After that they’ve sent the cook the home amongst the other long line of customers waiting. The service was poor and communication was slim to none. Only two people working at this place. this was the worst experience I’ve ever endured.

    This Whataburger is usually pretty good, the foods usually right. Sometimes, however, I have the unfortunate displeasure of being served by the older gentlemen named James at night via drive thru. I ordered online, and added ketchup to the order. Sometimes, they forget if I order online to include the ketchup, so at the window, I asked if there was ketchup in the bag. James said “No,” and began to make a sarcastic comment about how if it’s not included in the order, then it’s not in the bag. I did include it in my order, it’s on the receipt. I don’t need to be treated like I’m stupid when I’m just getting food. I’m a regular at this Whataburger and I don’t usually have a problem, but damn it, that experience really frustrated me
