Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Putting a man with actual dwarfism at the drive though is diablolical, even for this virtual soup kitchen. HE DOESNT REACH! If i wanted to get down to get my food i'd of parked! SMH Do better!

They are doing a great job here. Was approached by a young girl asking for money but the workers kindly asked her to move on. She didn't comply...I did end up giving my meal to a homeless person who wasn't a threat. It's a thin line but I would go back anytime because of the great staff!

Whataburger is a reliable go-to for satisfying, made-to-order fast food with a distinctly Texas feel. The burgers are the highlight—thick, juicy patties served on toasted buns, with fresh toppings that you can customize exactly how you like. The classic Whataburger lives up to its reputation, and options like the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit (especially late at night or early morning) make the menu stand out from typical fast food chains.
The portions are generous, and the menu has enough variety to keep things interesting, from burgers and chicken sandwiches to breakfast items and shakes. The spicy ketchup is a fan favorite and definitely worth trying if you haven’t already.
Service is usually friendly, and while it’s not always the fastest—especially during peak hours—the food is made fresh, which helps justify the wait. The dining areas are generally clean, though this can vary by location.
Overall, Whataburger earns four stars for its consistently good food, big portions, and unique menu items. It’s not the quickest option out there, but the quality and flavor make it a strong choice when you’re craving classic comfort food.

Do the drive thru homeless people inside are too much sometimes.
Felt threatened at night once by a homeless dude who kept asking me for money and followed me out once I left, and today another is geeking out in the lobby just talking to himself and shouting political stuff among other random stuff.
Staff does good work and I don't blame them for not confronting the homeless.
