I ordered one pound brisket from H-E-B, it came as only two very thick slices—over an inch each—which is not the usual brisket style I’m used to. It also came with two pieces of bread, about four and a half pickle slices, and four onion rings, which felt minimal. The overall presentation seemed unprofessional, and unfortunately, the brisket did not taste good. I’ve had much better, more consistent experiences with Rudy’s, so I hope H-E-B improves.

The store was clean and well organized, which I appreciated. However, the customer service experience could definitely improve. I asked two different employees for help finding a product, and neither of them was able to locate it. In the end, I had to download the store app and find the item myself. On top of that, the checkout process was frustrating. The lines were very long, and the self-checkout machines were not working properly, which slowed everything down even more. Overall, the store itself looked good, but the lack of assistance and checkout issues made the experience less pleasant.

I’m extremely disappointed with how my family was treated at this H-E-B location. What should have been a normal shopping trip turned into a very uncomfortable and upsetting experience. While we were checking out to purchase beer and wine ,security was called on us for no valid reason. It felt completely unnecessary and like we were being singled out and profiled. Being treated that way when you’re just trying to shop is humiliating and unacceptable. What made it worse was how the situation was handled by the manager, Marty. His attitude was extremely rude and dismissive. Instead of taking the concern seriously or trying to understand what happened, he was very nonchalant and acted like the situation didn’t matter. When we called to check on the status of the complaint after being told corporate would review it, Marty sounded just as dismissive on the phone. He mentioned there was supposedly an update from corporate, but his tone made it clear he didn’t really care about addressing what happened or the impact it had on us. When customers raise concerns about discrimination or profiling, it should be taken seriously. Management should listen, investigate, and treat people with respect. That did not happen here. I hope H-E-B takes situations like this more seriously moving forward and ensures customers are treated fairly and respectfully. This is 2026 and we will not be accepted being treated this way and dismissed
