I have spent nearly two weeks trying to fill a legitimate prescription at this location and was met with delays, shifting explanations, and some of the most unprofessional behavior I have ever experienced from a pharmacist. On 3/25, after being told my prescription would be ready in an hour, I returned only to be told the pharmacist had additional questions for my doctor. My provider's office confirmed this was not a valid reason to hold it and offered to speak with the pharmacist directly. I called them from the counter and had them on the line in under 60 seconds, at which point the pharmacist (Kate) came to the counter and immediately began speaking in a raised, hostile tone in front of a full store. Embarrassing. Kate claimed she had already called the doctor's office, impossible given the timeline. When my provider's rep asked for the name of who she had spoken to (standard documentation), Kate refused. She then changed her story to say she had forgotten to ask before hanging up. When I asked for her pharmacy license number (public information), she refused that too, again yelling. I am a graduate student with a documented learning disability. This medication is an academic accommodation. Two weeks without it, plus the stress of this experience, has had a real impact on my studies. I have filed a formal complaint with HEB corporate and the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. I hope management takes this seriously.

HEB it's time to start staying open later again. 11pm is BS.. most of us are having to work multiple jobs to afford the cost of living, I think y'all make more than enough money now to go back to pre pandemic business hours.

I come to this particular HEB often, the groceries are always decently priced, but the employees could definitely be “Better” a couple weeks ago I was trying to park and a lady was outside talking to a parked car right in front the entrance the security was outside taking a break in the shade I guess watching the traffic it was causing. I believe he got mad cause I told him to do his job that gets paid to do… Today I noticed a lady with a giant hound in the store casually shopping as if PETS are allowed in the store around FOOD. SO I asked one employee the policy and they confirmed Only service animals.. by the time I checked out the lady checked out at the same time and I let one of the managers know “Kevin” that’s not a service animal. And he just walked away. I’m not gonna go into what race these individuals were but it definitely showed a pattern. Do Better HEB

I love this HEB for the convenience alone. It's right near my work so it's my quick stop on the way home if we forgot something for dinner. The store itself is always well stocked when you catch things in time...because items definitely go fast here. If you want something specific, you've gotta be quick! The cashiers are honestly great! Always friendly, efficient, and they keep the lines moving when the store is packed (which is basically anytime between 2p-8p). The "food court" options are also a huge win. Everything I've tried has been delicious, which makes the trip feel a little more fun than your average grocery run. Now for the brutally honest part...The parking lot is absolutely terrifying. (I legitimately was blocked in by 4 police cruisers doing a search of a car in the parking lot. It took almost an hour from my "quick lunch" grab). It's nothing on HEB itself (per se) or the employees, but wow...definitely requires a full pep talk before driving over there. I've also had a couple rough experiences. The Mueller Bar staff has pretty much been rude each time I've gone which is a bummer because it's such a cool concept! I also ordered a cake recently and it unfortunately wasn't ready at the scheduled pickup time and I had to wait over 20 minutes while they iced it...the handwriting on it looked very child-like and not in a pleasant way. Overall though, the location is incredibly convenient, the store is busy for a reason and the cashiers are doing a great job keeping things running smoothly. Just come mentally prepared for the parking situation and maybe grab your must-have items early before they disappear.

The cashier Vanessa W and the Hispanic female sacker were being so rude and ugly and assaulted my soul and everything along those lines at 9:23 AM and was a very bad shopping experience overall and ruined everything. The sacker kept giving me the cold shoulder and would not even be nice about anything and was very creida/ presumida/ thinking she was all that and thought it was all about her big false stage eyelashes, big long fake nails and all about her. Very awkward and nonsense. They couldn't even get my dog food frozen X-Large poultry item in a white sack without me asking twice and them bombarding me with a cold shoulder and talking back to me. Very awkward and nonsense.
