  Yesterday we dined at Fleming’s in Austin around 6:30 PM and I unfortunately became very ill 4 hours later. Our table already had filled water glasses and butter sitting out before we were seated, which we found unusual, as most restaurants prepare these items fresh for each party. Our meal included filet mignon, Thai green beans, bread with Cabernet butter, a kids’ cheese/cracker plate with ranch and vegetables, and fruit with Chantilly cream. I can’t say with certainty what caused the illness, but the timing and symptoms were consistent with foodborne illness. Given that some of these items are temperature-sensitive and/or handled frequently, I hope the restaurant reviews its food handling and table preparation practices carefully. This was a disappointing experience, especially given the price point. I hope this is taken seriously so it doesn’t happen to others.

  Been coming to this Fleming’s location for a while and have always enjoyed the great food and service. This past weekend we went to celebrate a family birthday, and the service was truly above and beyond. Mia was fantastic and really made our dining experience special. The food was excellent as always. Looking forward to our next visit!

  My family visit High End Restaurants from time to time. We chose Fleming's Prime Steakhouse for my Birthday. Listen to me when I tell you, the Steak melted in my mouth. This is by far the best Steakhouse my family and I visited. Christian and James were amazing hosts. And before I leave I just wanted to send praises to our waitress Laura. I will definitely recommend her when you go.

  Once again my experience was great and money well spent. Ivette and Jaymar made the evening exceptional in a plethora of ways. Everything that I asked for was given with ease. The atmosphere was pleasantly refreshing. You can actually have conversation with someone if you choose to. Many restaurants are noisy. I ordered the filet mignon and crab stuffed shrimp with spinach. I also had crème brûlée. The dessert was delicious. The food temperature was perfect and the quality was exceptional. The to go box was the perfect size. Christian was gracious as usual. Thank you for an amazing evening. SC.
