Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Multiple reviews highlighted poor service, including rude staff and long wait times, particularly with the new digital ordering system.

Location Concerns

Crystal was the person attending me I didn’t know they had a limit on the amount of orders you can make I had 3 friends lunches I was getting and was told I can only order 2 separate orders seemed odd since I haven’t had this issue at any other location. Leaving this review to warn others who may be coming to get lunch for their friend/ office mates :/ Seems like she overall had a bad attitude as well. Sucks at one person bad mood can make your experience a bad one. Plus

I ordered a plain and dry double cheeseburger with onions, they brought it out with pickles. That’s no problem, I return it and say I don’t want pickles, they say they can remake it. They bring out my order and we pull away. I bite into it. They just gave me back the burger but took the pickles off. I can taste the pickle juice. I hate pickles so I can immediately tell. If you’re the manager or whoever that gave it back to me I hope you have an awful day.
