Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Stop by for lunch ordered a double with cheese no lettuce no onion and instead I got a burger piled with onions and a few pickles. On top of being the wrong order the burger and fries tasted old and they were cold you would figure that during the lunch hour food would be fresh and at least warm. I will most likely skip out of coming to this location in the future.

We are regulars here, we don't like to complain often and this is the point where I draw the line. The staff and management (especially) are incompetent. Do Not believe when they tell you they will refund your card because here's the catch (they don't know how to and they don't think you'll come in store to get it via cash). We waited over a week for the refund to come back to the card and they never did it. I called to explain, they said oh, you must have the wrong store. I live 5 mins from here, I definitely don't have the wrong store (way to try to pass me off). They couldn't find my order on the computer, showed up in store and they found it instantly and everything, printing the original receipt (why couldn't this be done over the phone and if it could, why couldn't you do this refund via card). Skill lacking. To add to this, they always mess up the order, forget items, give out old food and they definitely don't clear the shake machine before giving you a shake (then you taste the previous shake flavor from someone else's order which is just gross). Never coming back to this location, ever. The bad reviews are telling the truth.
