Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Would not let me finish a sentence. When I asked. For. Her name she hung up on me. Good not worth the rude service. I worked at way burger years ago nothing Is made till ordered. Thus definitely was not !!!

Don't bother with curbside because 9 times out of 10 they don't even come out, and more than once I've gone in only for them to have to remake my order because they handed it out to the wrong person. And the drive thru is barely any quicker so RIP to anyone expecting their fast food to be fast

When I arrived, I was not greeted with a friendly welcome. The manager, Jesus, showed no smile or acknowledgment—just a blank stare and a monotone voice, which felt uninviting. Later, when I noticed my Coke had too much carbonation, I politely asked for a new cup rather than simply refilling at the fountain. Instead of addressing the issue or acknowledging my request, the manager walked off toward the back without saying anything. Customer service is a cornerstone of this industry, and managers should set the tone for a welcoming environment. In this case, I felt dismissed and ignored, which is disappointing given Whataburger’s usual standards.
