Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I pulled up to the drive thru. They asked for a name for the order, I said my name and then asked for a #1 with no pickles and the drink half and half tea. they then asked me if I wanted lettuce tomato and onions and mustard . I thought that was odd since I had said I want a whataburger with no pickles and it comes with all of the other stuff. then she asked If I wanted cheese. I said no. then she asked my name again. I went ahead and drove up because I had already given my name right before I gave the order. I am behind 3 cars and when I pull up to the window they asked my name. I said my name and then the girl gets another girl to come and aske me what was my order, when I started with a number 1 with no pickles, she then asked did I want lettuce, tomato onion and mustard. I asked her did she not have my order and she tells me that since I didn't give her my name (which I did at the start of my order) that she assumed it was cancelled. Now, I am behind 3 cars, where was I going to go if I wanted to leave, I couldn't. I guess she ASSSUMED I would wait in line to drive off. I was on my lunch break and had waited quit a bit of time to get to the window to discover that she decided I didn't want my order. I would have gone in and asked for a manager but I figured this girl was probably the manager anyway so it wouldn't matter. I am not pleased at the customer service at this location.

Love what burger because its freshly made, but this location Be Prepared to wait thru the drive thru I waited over 20 min. to get my meal this was not during the rush hour either. Be Ware! Management lets get it together- u need more cooks!!

Walking inside the store. The restrooms were clean. Stood at the counter the lady that was working in the drive-through area. Saw me walk in. Saw me standing at the counter. Never said hello and shortly after that said, are you here to pick up order. I told her that she could at least acknowledge me in the store. But she said she had a customer she was talking dealing with. What am I chopped liver. This store on Palmer I would never come back to the store ever again. Service here is not great. All she do is say hello I’ll be with you shortly.

This location NEVER gets your order right. Food takes a minimum of 40 minutes no matter if you online order, order in-store or go through the drive through.Dont recomend door dashing, food is always missing and things are always spilled or just not good.

This has to HANDS DOWN one of the best WHATABURGER locations. I had a great lunch with my boss. We both left very satisfied with the meal. Unaware that I left my wallet behind. Manager on duty who without knowing has become the hero of the story. Manager Alazen... Apologies for the misspelling (in my defense his badge was upside down sry not trying to throw shade) but he when above and beyond the call and place my wallet in it's entirety I the safe. The time lock safe, which I now can confirm works. Thanks man for keeping all my stuff safe your store is very clean both dinning and restrooms. This is what store should shoot for, great staff, fast service, and secret service type security. I'll be coming back maybe use tap instead.
