We brought my mother down to visit my sister from Ohio for Thanksgiving. My nephew works there so we went there for dinner with the whole family that lives here in Texas. I wouldn’t take the time to write this if it was mediocre, but I have to tell you this was some of the best food I have had lately on the road. I travel a lot for work to treat myself to good food and unique places everywhere I go. This place was really good and very reasonably priced. Service was excellent, but it was provided by my nephew, so I am biased. The fish and chips was the best I’ve ever had, the shaved steak sandwich was excellent with a perfect mixture of onions and cheese. The chicken pot pie was awesome as well as the shrimp cocktail appetizer. They had the best crème brûlée I’ve ever had, and I’ve had it at some fancy places. We might go back while we’re here to try some other food because it was all really good and very reasonably priced.

I’ve met clients and partners here on several occasions in the past couple of years. I also regularly take home their fish and chips. Never been disappointed…and intend to keep coming back. Best service and cafe food around! Highly recommend.

I am actually a very picky eater. When I review restaurants I tend to reserve a very big buffer of grace for one offs. I still don’t have one place that I would be willing to go to repeatedly, well, until the League Kitchen & tavern. Seriously, whoever is cooking actually has taste buds. I would highly recommend it. I had the chicken Diane and it was very good.

We had great dinning experience here. We got started on the spinach dip and warm pretzels with cheese dip. For entrees we got Chicken Diane and their October special meat pasta.
We were informed prior to ordering that Chicken Diane will take 20 mins to prepare. The appetizers that we ordered kept us occupied and full until our entrees came. The chicken Diane was crispy and juicy with a great mushroom sauce. The only negative was the potato mash it came with was cold and a little dry. The pasta was alright but our favorite of the night was chicken Diane.
As first time visitors we got complimentary dessert. We got rhe grandma cake with ice cream. It wasn't our favorite, but really enjoyed the cake with pecans on its own.
I would definitely come back to try some items on their menu
