Randalls is an over priced supermarket. They may lure you in with their weekly circular, but stick to your list. They DO have clearance areas for many departments, often 1/2 off for last day of sale on expiration dates.

RUDE DELI WORKER! I go in to shop for Uber Eats. Now I have been doing this for about 5 years. And I am new to TX. But I go to the deli and this young woman. White maybe mid 30’s is helping me. She asks for me to scan a code and then show the amount they want. I don’t see it so I say a pound is fine. Now I know it’s fine because I actually DO this job. She is like my manager told me xyz? I’m thinking do I work for your manager? The amount of rude behavior I get doing this type of work in TX is just weird to me. She is breathing very hard and saying something about people? I can tell she has an attitude? then walks off to get her manager. The manger is a black woman and she was very sweet. It was the only thing that kept me from getting upset. She asked if it was DoorDash and it’s not of course it’s Uber Eats. Then says people will return the deli meat if not exact? Never heard of such a thing maybe with DoorDash or maybe if it’s a lot of pounds over what they asked for. She shows me where it says 0.8. Okay that’s fine I have never had it not show the weight. But I would have been fine with a pound as I first stated. If it’s wrong then that’s my problem to deal with. The manager was very professional and polite so definitely no shade to her. But the first young woman was just rude. I don’t work for you or Randall’s so to tell me how to do my job, is definitely not YOUR’S? The breathing hard etc should not be common practice in the work place. Just because I am doing a delivery service doesn’t mean I work for you. You definitely don’t know my job better than I do. That’s like me walking back there to tell her how to slice the deli meat. If she was polite about it then I could have listened to what she said. The manager was right about the pounds but it was not significant enough to need a whole discussion about MY JOB. The manager need a raise having her as an employee. Definitely won’t take a job or work this store again.

First time ever going inside a Randall’s and I had some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced I dealt with 4 workers here and each one was equally as rude and unhelpful as the last and i usually don’t say stuff like this but it made me feel like I was being discriminate against cause me and my sister were the only Mexicans in there and I witness the same workers with other customers with a different skin tone than mine and they we being so nice to them but rude and unhelpful to me and my sister will never go back
