TOP TIER!!!
My husband and I came over to this location after being so disappointed by the location on North Hwy 35.
We were immediately greeted by Aymen, he was absolutely wonderful and provided as drinks and menus so quickly. His shift ended shortly after we arrived and we were then taking care of by Daniella who was also wonderful! They completely catered to us and made sure our drinks were full, our food was good, and we were enjoying our time. We later greeted by Grant who is the manager and he was also very kind and welcoming. We will come back to this location every single time instead of any other location in Austin. The food was also exemplary!
Many thanks to the staff at this location you guys are amazing!

I’m extremely disappointed in Pappadeaux’s handling of a recent situation involving one of their employees. Instead of standing by their staff member after that employee spoke up about experiencing homophobia from a patron, the company chose to terminate the employee.
Hospitality should include protecting your team from discrimination. When businesses fail to support employees who speak out against homophobic behavior, it sends a troubling message about whose comfort matters more.
Creating an inclusive environment isn’t just about marketing — it’s about how leadership responds when bias actually shows up. In this case, the response appears to prioritize avoiding controversy over protecting staff from mistreatment.
Until Pappadeaux demonstrates a clear commitment to standing against discrimination and supporting its employees, I can’t in good conscience recommend supporting this business.

Excellent night! Went out to dinner with my husband and his parents for his birthday. Being the day after Valentine’s Day and a weekend, the kitchen was out of a lot of things. But they were super cool in offering upgraded items in replacement of the items that we wanted. Our table ordered the special, the sea bass. We also ordered the filet mignon with crab jasmine rice. The other two meals were fish and shrimp, though I’m blanking on the exact names. The sweet potato pecan pie was strangely good! We were a little sceptical having only tried these pies separately all our lives but it is an exceptional combination. Everyone enjoyed their food. Staff was incredible. Atmosphere was sublime!

We dined here on Valentine’s Day, which was also my birthday. While the food was great and our server was attentive, the overall experience felt a bit off for such a special occasion. I noted my birthday on the reservation, but it was never acknowledged, even after my ID was checked. I also ordered an espresso martini that was served in a short glass because they ran out of martini glasses, which wasn’t communicated beforehand. Small details like that matter, especially on a celebratory night. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but it didn’t quite match the occasion we were celebrating

214/26 Had wonderful birthday dinner for 5 last night. Fantastic server, Chris, anticipated our every need and kept food and beverages coming! They have streamlined their menu. We had fruits de mer, cold boiled shrimp, crab, and oysters on half shell, all were fresh and delicious. A friend had gumbo which was yummy and chock full of goodies! The jumbo shrimp brochette was Devine, and the dirty rice was really dirty! This place is pricy, but worth every bite, and the service was impeccable! Go to Pappadeaux and laissez les bons temps rouler!
