The kind of mood where a lesser establishment could have ruined my week. Instead, Panera calmly absorbed my nonsense like a large, well-trained sponge and gave me soup.. And the staff. Friendly without acting like my best friend from camp. Helpful without narrating the process like a YouTube tutorial. They moved with the calm efficiency of people who know where the ladles are and are not afraid of them. I sat there under the warm lights thinking, this is what functioning society looks like. Five stars. Panera South Austin understood the assignment, did the reading, and turned it in early.
