  I NEVER write reviews. But my hubbz and I went to Nomade for our early Valentine's date and I was blew away. Every single waitstaff that we spoke was greatly helpful, and everyone felt truly happy to be working there, which I always take as a really good sign! Our waiter (Hi, Gabriel!) was literally one of the best waiters of my life, kind, helpful & knowledgable, personable but not intrusive. I am truly amazed -- give that man a promotion! And the FOOOOD! OMG. I am a total food (career in nutrition) and always leave even the best restaurants underwhelmed and we literally had a 10/10 flavor experience. Unreal. I had almost all vegan stuff, and I'm not even vegan! IT WAS HEAVEN! New fave ATX restaurant.

  The tuna crudo was amazing, but the Hamachi ceviche and mushroom tacos were underwhelming. The ceviche was not as flavorful as I wanted. The mushroom was entirely too chewy with corn tortillas that were sitting out too long. Service was 100% amazing. Food presentation pretty good. Atmosphere and noise volume very well for a birthday dinner. With that said, my friend and I who had the tuna crudo (best dish) were both sick in the tummy the next day.

  Nomade is AMAZING- seriously I love this restaurant. One of my all time favorites with an incredible all gluten free menu. Everything is so delicious- they even made me a special full size tres leches cake to take home for my friend’s bday. The best! Thanks Kelly and Chef!!! Only thing that makes me sad is that they took off the soft shell crab tacos- which were INSANELY tasty.

  I have been to nomade a handful of times and always enjoyed the experience enough. However last night my party of 10 was completely ripped off. We chose to order Yucatán feast and paid $65 per person ($650). After adding up every plate we received we only reached $574. This is completely ridiculous. They also charged us for 2 additional desserts we did not order - $12 each. The service did not make up for it either. We order margs and Palomas that are listed as $12 on the menu and the server upgraded them to more expensive selection of tequila without asking. Overall really disappointed with this experience.

  The food & service here (Anthony was an amazing waiter) was top notch, delicious and attentive. The management however was awful. Had a reservation booked, called to let them know I’d be 10 minutes late and was told there were no other reservations for the night so we’d have no problem being sat. Got there and were told all available tables were reserved for those with reservations… told them I had a reservation and just called and was then told a different story that they gave my table away to “keep the flow & good service for guests”… was eventually sat after waiting 10 minutes in a dark corner outside & told they’d have management come talk to us about how they could help (assuming they meant comp a drink or something). Management never came by and in fact avoided eye contact with my table for the rest of the meal. Super disappointing considering there were empty tables inside the entire time we dined. Your food is too good for management this bad.
