    The owners are some of the nicest and polite people. They always make you experience extra special by adding some magic sauce. Food and delicious and very nicely seasoned. The taste especially for that Mac n cheese is melt in mouth and very cheesy. Rice was very nicely seasoned and the best plantains I have tried. Waiting for the jerk jackfruit to come back!!!

    This was an extreme treat for me! Amazing flare on Jamaican cuisine! It’s been my favorite place I’ve found here in Austin and I’ve been 3 times in 2 weeks (should speak for itself lol) In addition to that, Clay and Mike are extremely personable and have genuine hearts for a great overall experience! I’m a fan and a regular!

    I got the half and half bowl and it was delicious! I enjoyed the mac and cheese more than the rice and the variety of textures in the bowl. I also enjoyed the “extra fiyah” sauce that was spicy but hits differently from habanero based sauces. On top of the good food, had great service from the owner, he took the time to hear my feedback about the food and even gave me complimentary hibiscus tea! You can really tell he’s passionate about his food and the vision he has.

    I've been here 2 times for the half and half bowl, and both times have been amazing. The food is exceptionally delicious, the outdoor setting is nice on a not too hot or not too cold day, and the service is always very welcoming both times. Looking forward to finding time to come here more often! The free drink I got and the attention to healthiness is really the icing on the cake.

    Despite checking out this spot on a whim, I couldn’t have imagined a better experience! Truly some of the best Jamaican food I’ve had in town; Clay goes above and beyond to make every customer feel like family. Proper portions and reasonable prices, and the jerk chicken was absolutely fantastic with a healthy (but not unreasonable) kick from the spice. Honestly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! I can’t remember the last time I was so blown away by a food truck here in Austin, both in terms of food and service. Do yourself a favor and check out Mr. Pimento ASAP. Thank you Clay and team for a memorable visit, I will definitely be back soon! Can’t wait to try the oxtail special lol
