When I walked in, the employee behind the counter was arguing with a customer about an order, which was awkward to witness. I ordered three beef jalapeño & cheese kolaches, but we were given two jalapeño & cheese and one plain. The interaction also felt rushed—no “thank you” or goodbye, just very short service. On top of that, basic supplies were missing: there were no coffee stirrers (only forks), and the restroom wasn’t clean and had no paper towels. It was a Saturday and not busy, so the lack of supplies and upkeep didn’t make sense. The kolaches themselves were great, but the service really needs improvement.

The fillings are a complete joke and the overly sweet and gummy dough is gawd awful!! Avoid at all cost.

Both were well-portioned and flavorful, and the Korean BBQ had a nice kick without being too spicy. I finished things off with a nicely rich cream cheese kolache and had a freshly brewed coffee to go with it all. Service was prompt and friendly and the vibe was very relaxed. They have a few indoor tables and covered outdoor deck that accommodates a few more people. This was my first visit to Kolache Factory and I plan to visit again and try some more of their flavor combos. Thumbs up from me! 👍
