H-E-B supermarket impressed me with fresh produce, friendly staff, and a clean, well-organized store. Shopping was easy and enjoyable. Parking was a bit crowded but overall a great experience.

H-E-B is hands down the best grocery store in Texas, and every visit reminds me why it has such a loyal following. From the moment you walk in, the store feels bright, clean, and well-organized, making shopping a pleasant experience instead of a chore. The produce section is outstanding—always fresh, colorful, and stocked with both everyday staples and seasonal, locally sourced options. What really sets H-E-B apart is the variety. Whether you’re looking for organic, international, or specialty items, you’ll find them here. Their store brands are fantastic, often matching or even surpassing the quality of national brands at a lower price. The bakery and deli sections are top-notch as well, offering fresh bread, pastries, and ready-to-go meals that taste homemade. The meat and seafood counters are another highlight, with plenty of quality choices at fair prices. Customer service is consistently excellent. The employees are friendly, helpful, and genuinely seem to care about making your experience a good one. Checkout is efficient, even during peak hours.

I like to buy my groceries here. Great bargains and they have the usual things I buy there. At times I get something special to eat.

Tried to get ham from the produce department. Never had an issue. Now there’s a girl named Maribel and she wants to stock the entire chicken kiosk before she serves anyone. It’s ridiculous as there was already chicken there. Just no customer service with her. I even asked her and she said I’ll do all the chicken first then get back to you. Are you for real? My transaction is one minute. I waited 15

I want to thank Brandis for her wonderful customer service at the self-checkout. I was having trouble accessing my bank’s website to unlock my card as it happened to be the same day many websites were down across the country. Brandis was incredibly patient and kind throughout the process. She didn’t rush me and made me feel comfortable as I struggled to get the website to open. Even though I wasn’t able to complete my purchase at that time, she kindly placed my items in a cooler so I could return later in the day. Her calm, helpful demeanor really stood out and made a stressful situation so much easier.
