Wow this place is HUGE!!! Nothing like this in Caiofornia so it was quite an experience. 1 part functional and 1 part entertainment for the dedicated escalator for your shopping cart alone.
Fruit and delicious area were impressive with a ton of options. I love that they have the nutritional info on prepared foods, super helpful! Sushi, bbq, pasta, salads, sandwiches and so much more. Prices are very reasonable, of not inexpensive, compared to buying in California.
Good mix of standard brands and smaller boutique brands that you might find in Whole Foods.
All of the employees were incredibly helpful and pleasant.

Unnecessarily huge and the prices are marked up compared to McDonalds. Why in the world have 5 stories and not even affordable prices??? Seemed really gimmicky. Just go to Walmart where milk and other items are cheaper.

Interesting concept & application. Great use of available space/ real estate.
Crowded
Expensive
Clean, the cart dudes were friendlier than anyone else in the store. Lots of stocked items
That I wasn't looking for.
If you don't have or buy reusable your groceries are just tossed back into the cart.
Rotisserie chicken dry, overcooked and under seasoned.
Fun to wander through the aisles and watch people.

I went to HEB on Congress and Otorf on Friday on October 24, 2025 around 11:00AM and we was treated by certain staffs as if we were criminals.
I am a black 65 year old woman and my friend is a white woman around my age.
We were born in America and we are American citizens.
My friend have a friend who was recently checked into the hospital for severe suger diabetes.
Her friend is a Spanish woman.
My friend asked me if she could sell $10.00 of food stamps for money.
I use to get around 200.00 food stamps but the told me that since I am homeless and get and retirement check, then they reduced my food stamps to 25.00 monthly.
But yet, I could not get an apartment because I were not making 3× the rent.
So I told my friend that I would buy me a little food that would last me for a week and pay for it with her food stamps.
And whatever I spend, I give that amount to her in cash and we agreed on that.
My food amount were $27.10
And she paid $27.10 on my food with her food stamps.
And I paid her in return $27.25 from my retirement money because I did not have $.10 cent in change
When I did not have money and were hungry and thirsty, my friend bought me food and water without me asking her.
And in likewise, I did the same for her
She do not get income, and I only get $25.00 food stamps.

This is the killing part of our struggle...
1) We were "born"
In "America"
And are "American citizens"
2) We "all tthree"
Are "homeless"
And were "politically kicked out"
Into the "streets"
3) We were being "filmed"
In HEB"
By a "male Spanish staff"
On "his cell phone"
That "work"
At "HEB"
While "we"
Were "paying"
For our "items"
In HEB self checkout counter"
And "three HEB female staffs"
Stood "by"
As "his witness"
4) I went "back"
To "HEB"
And "asked"
A "Spanish officer"
Where could I "go"
To "talk"
To the "HEB manager"
And "he"
Directed "me"
To a "Spanish female"
5) I told the "manager"
About "how"
The "HEB staffs"
Had "Violated"
Our "Rights"
6) I told "her"
That "we"
Had broken "No Law"
But yet "we"
Were "treated"
Like "criminals"
7) I told "her"
That "we"
Were ❗judged❗
Without "them"
Knowing our ❗ STRUGGLE ❗
8) The "manager"
Told "me"
That "if"
They suspect "something"
Then then they "can"
9) I cut "off"
Her "conversation"
And told "her"..
That I am a 65 years old woman and I worked all my life since age 15.
I have a good work history.
I never been in trouble with the law.
And yet, politically, when the Democrats came into officeduring the age of the covet virus in the year of 2020, they tried to take my social security number away from me.
And I had to go online and report that woman at the social security office in order to get my social security number back.
Then my nurse assistant certified and medication aide permit were taken away from me
The American citizens were kicked out into the streets all while the immigrants all around the world flooded into America by airplane and buses which force more Americans into the streets.
The immigrants were put in motels, hotels, low income apartments, and vacon home and were given American's benefits; monthly stimulus checks, food stamps, insurance, etc.
The were treated as ❗Legals❗ in America while the "citizens" who were "born" in "America" are being treated like ❗illegals❗
I do Not
Have ill will
Toward the immigrants
I feel
That they
Are "too"
Being "toss around"
Being "miss handled"
Politically going "to"
And "fro"
And being "targetted"
Like "The Americans"
