Placed a curbside order thinking i would be able to drop by, park and leave. However, i have now been sitting here for over an hour. I could have just gone in and grabbed the THREE small items I placed. But since i already paid I’m held hostage waiting. If i knew when i placed this order this morning at 8 AM that it would be over an hour late I would not have placed it. I called them already and they said they would be out soon (20 mins ago).

This HEB accepts too many online orders during rush hour, and there aren’t enough pick up spaces to accommodate. The parking lot is a zoo and so tight that I saw many near accidents with other cars and shoppers. When I called the store to give feedback, I spoke to a manager (ironically named “Karen” if I’m remembering correctly) and she wasn’t concerned. HEB needs to do better.

Ask Amy Review: HEB (The Apocalypse Edition) 🛒💣
• 🧀 Cheese Quest: Cheddar, mozzarella, goat cheese… all in three completely random locations. Scavenger hunt, anyone?
• 🏃 Full-Body Workout: You’ll sprint from one end of the store to the other like you’re training for a triathlon. Forget the gym—HEB’s got you.
• 🌀 Aisle Logic = Nonexistent: Bread next to frozen veggies, cans next to cleaning supplies… someone clearly designed this place just to make humans suffer.
• 🚗 Parking Nightmare: Garage packed, street blocked, lines of cars circling like it’s a NASCAR event. You’ll spend more time parking than shopping—bring a chair and a snack.
• 💥 Design = Disaster: The entire layout is a crime against organization. Horrible flow, confusing aisles, zero sense. I’m convinced it was designed by chaos itself.
• 🤯 Overall: Shopping here is an endurance test. Confusion, cardio, and existential dread are all included free of charge.
• ⚠️ Warning: Attempting to get groceries here may cause PTSD, rage, or sudden bursts of tears.
Verdict: HEB = IKEA for groceries × chaos × parking nightmares. Bring patience… and maybe a sherpa. 🛒💀🔥
