HEB used to be my favorite grocery store. Lately, HEB in Austin is now anti-homeless and often have armed guards messing with people. These aggressive, armed security have been harassing me at pretty much every location. At this location, the guard was walking around, looking in cars. I'm asking you all join me in just walking away from stores with armed guards... Not just HEB either. If they don't welcome you, just leave... Especially those of us... They tend to never hire

This used to be a good store with people who knew what they were doing. Today we realized they are no longer that store. The "personal shoppers" blocked the aisles and ramrodded their way where ever they wanted to go. Wtocking carts blocked aisles with no one around. We had a girl bagging our groceries who bagged bread under heavy items, cold with not cold and proceeded to leave several of our groceries out that we did not realize until we got home and had planned to make sandwiches and saw that because this girl apparently didn't really want to work, we had no meat. That was expensive lunch meat...why would you do that? Either do the job correctly or quit. You are giving HEB a really really bad name. Bagging groceries isn't that hard. Don't just shove food in a bag. USE YOUR BRAIN!!!!! I have never seen such rude employees. Perhaps all of the employees at this location need total retraining on customer service. We will never go here again.

If you’re considering this store for regular groceries, it’s a great choice. The place is usually busy—with weekends feeling especially full—but it’s still manageable. There’s plenty of parking, which makes coming here easy and convenient. However, my experience with the floral section wasn’t the best. I needed a customized bouquet, and after asking a couple of employees to call the florist, I waited around 20–25 minutes. No one showed up, and eventually I had to settle for a premade bouquet for an important event, which was disappointing. Overall, I definitely recommend this store for groceries, but for flowers and customization, my experience wasn’t as smooth as expected.
