Decent HEB, they have a good selection. The parking lot is on the small side and gets SUPER busy, but it’s just a high volume area

I pretty much like shopping here - big selection - There's something awfully wrong in the produce section, last time I went here. Very strong musty odor coming out of the vents around the vegetables. Who knows what kinds of mold and bacteria are coming out of there? Want legionnaire's disease, anybody? Seems dangerous.

Went to this HEB when I was in Austin on 12/21 to get some yogurt for a recipe I was going to make for Christmas dinner. Unfortunately when I started putting the recipe together on 12/24 I found out the yogurt I bought on 12/21 had an expiration date if 12/15. A word to the wise check the dates on stuff you buy at HEB. They sell you old stuff.

This is my neighborhood HEB and I always have a good shopping experience here, but I wanted to acknowledge Merrell and Jesus for going above and beyond today! I was at the register putting my items on the conveyor belt and I accidentally dropped one of my apples and bruised it pretty badly. While I was debating whether I should run back over to produce to swap it out for a different one, these two surprised me with a replacement when it was my turn to pay! It was a small gesture but it really made my day that someone ran all the way to the other side of the store just for me. Keep doin what you're doin guys :)

I love everything about HEB, but you have to do something about the auto locking carts. I paid for my groceries in self checkout and tried to exit, but the wheels locked to a dead stop at the doors while several people were trying to enter and exit around me. injured my shin SO BAD i cant put weight on it. So much for being a paying customer??? why treat non-criminals like criminals simply because your sensor system isnt very accurate. FIX IT
