An act of kindness we will never forget. On October 16th, my daughter and I stopped by the H-E-B on 7th Street in Austin. It was a special day her 10th birthday and I wanted her to pick out her own cupcakes to celebrate. She was all dressed up in her cute birthday outfit, and everywhere we went, shoppers stopped to wish her a happy birthday. While we were in the bakery section, a young man who worked there his name, I believe, was Burke noticed us and came over with a big smile. He wished my daughter a happy birthday and asked her how old she was and if she’d be sharing her cupcakes with her classmates. My daughter is usually a little shy, but you could see her starting to light up. Burke told us he’d meet us up by the checkout lines, and we went on to grab a few more things. When we finished shopping, he came back holding a small goodie bag, a tiny pumpkin, and a bouquet of beautiful pink flowers. He handed them to my daughter and said, “Every little girl deserves flowers.” 🌸 It was one of the sweetest, most genuine gestures I’ve ever witnessed. My daughter was glowing with happiness. On the way back to the car, she said, “Mom, that was so nice of him he really made my day.” I don’t know if Burke has kids of his own, but if he does, I can only imagine he treats them like princesses. His simple act of kindness made our morning unforgettable. Thank you, Burke, and thank you H-E-B, for hiring people who go above and beyond to make others smile. You’ve reminded us that kindness is everywhere and that here, truly, everything’s better. ❤️

I've been to this HEB several times for both shopping for food and essentials and picking up my prescriptions.the staff was very helpful and there was not a long wait to purchase my items.the pharmacy had my medications ready for pickup when I got there and they do have a drive through window, Incase you don't feel like entering the store.it is wheelchair accessible and also has handicap parking parking.there is curbside pickup and security guards on duty to make sure everyone is safe..as always prices are reasonable and affordable especially with there deals and coupons, there is plenty of parking and it looks crowded but it actually wasn't, this HEB really is a good place to shop just a little tougher on the neighborhood.i would like to give a special shout out to my little my lil homie, jose Cordova, for working hard doing pickup and deliveries
