While checking out in the express lane I was waiting for an employee to come and verify my ID a guy by the name of Doug eventually got around to clear his fingerprint he starts with the caucasian male closest to him whom was in front of me then he decides to skip me and help the Caucasian male behind me instead of going right in order meaning I should have came next but instead I came last I felt very offended and was wondering why he chose to skip me and help the gentleman behind me as a African American woman that just don’t sit right with me at all hire better people who doesn’t see color when doing their job!

HEB has one of the dumbest alcohol policies ever (people who aren't even paying in the transaction apparently now have to show IDs). But this is compounded by one overly arrogant, power tripping employee at the self checkout. Do yourself a favor and go to the Valero next door if you're just buying beer. It's not even that much more expensive.

shortage of open checkout lanes, which leads to long lines and extended wait times at the counters. It would be great if the store could staff more lanes during busy periods to make checkout faster and smoother for customers.
