My boyfriend took me here for a late New Year’s celebration since we couldn’t be together on the actual day, and it turned out to be such a special experience. Glen, our server, surprised us with two glasses of champagne and even brought out a camera to help commemorate the moment—such a thoughtful and unexpected touch. Everything was impeccable and absolutely delicious, and the wine selection was impressively extensive. From the service to the food, it was a wonderful experience. I’m truly impressed and can’t wait to return. 🥂

Let me begin by saying that 12/12/2025 is a date I will forever hold close to my heart. As longtime patrons of Fleming’s at The Domain, we knew this was the perfect place to gather our loved ones for our “Meet and Greet” rehearsal celebration. While our wedding itself was intentionally nontraditional, it felt only natural to welcome our wedding party and friends to a cocktail gathering the week prior—one centered on connection, joy, and celebration. Kody and Junior went above and beyond to bring my vision to life, thoughtfully crafting an evening that captured the spirit of the holidays—complete with Christmas warmth, bubbles, caviar, and unforgettable memories. The managing partners truly pulled out all the stops, ensuring our guests felt exceptionally cared for while seamlessly maintaining impeccable service for in-house dining. Boyer, James, and Christian made their presence known from the start, allowing us to relax and trust that every detail was in capable hands. The seafood towers, sliders, and assortment of elevated bites were a tremendous hit, and guests especially loved the charming chocolate truffle boxes to end the evening on a sweet note. By the night’s end, it was once again reaffirmed why we consider the staff at this location to be family. This incredible team will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Went tonight for an early family Christmas dinner. My wife and mother in law are both visually impaired, and when we asked our waiter Sebastian, and let him know it was too dark for them to see the menu, he spoke with the manager and they turned the lights up in the entire restaurant. The food was phenomenal, we had the oysters, the shrimp, and yellow tail crudo for appetizers. I had the surf and turf, my wife had the scallops and mushroom risotto, my mother in law had the filet (which the chef sliced for her upon request due to her visual impairment), my step daughter had the lobster tails with the butter trio, and son in law had the pork chops. Everything was fantastic! For dessert we shared the gooey brownie, the cheesecake, and creme Brule. Delicious!! Sebastian was attentive, listened to our questions and gave great suggestions. One of the best waiters it had been my pleasure to be served by. Highly recommend and appreciate Fleming's not just for their Delicious food, but just as much, if not more, for their respect and accommodation for my wife and mother in law without judgment or question. We will be coming back!

My brother was visiting my wife and I to see our baby. She’s been in the NICU for almost a month now. He wanted to treat us and he picked this place. We arrived about 15 mins before our reservation the host stated that we would probably be sat closer to our reservation time .. no problem.. as our time for our reservation was nearing they offered us some champagne and let us know it would be a little longer. That was a nice touch and greatly appreciated it. We were served by 2 servers bill and Sebastian.. I would have rather given both of them up and gotten 1 competent server instead. As we ordered our drinks my wife asked for a water with no ice and my brother ordered a drink.. 10 mins ago by the other server Sebastian comes around asking if bill had come by already and we said yes but we were still waiting on drinks and my wife’s water.. he said he would get it.. more time passes finally my brothers drink was brought over my Sebastian still no water.. I reminded him about it and he said ohh right I’ll get it .. he also took the wine glasses away and said I’ll take these since it doesn’t look like you’ll be using them. My wife was thinking of having a glass of wine but she didn’t end up ordering it since the glasses were already taken away. The asparagus came back just steamed no seasoning whatsoever and had to have them redo that.. the steaks were really good. My brother had ordered an additional side of mashed potatoes which we never received and seemed to have been forgotten about. Also not sure what’s with the chocolate lava desert if they have some type of competition on who can push the most or just to increase the tab but Sebastian pushed it like 4 times. All in all the service was bad and the food was good. Probably wouldn’t be back because of the service

When you leave a steakhouse paying hundreds of dollars for a meal for two just to go home and reheat left over pizza, you know something is not right. I've been to quite a few steakhouse restaurants including others in the Domain and several in downtown Austin. This was my first time dining here and I'll say I am extremely disappointed to be kind. First, someone dropped off bread and 2 cheese spreads. When one of our servers (we supposedly had two but only saw the first one when we initially sat down and ordered our drinks) finally came over I asked for regular butter, having an allergy to the brie. He said he'd be right back with it. Then our meals were dropped off by another person. He put the plates on the table so quickly and walked away before we could say anything. The food was not good at all. My husband ordered the filet mignon, medium. We're used to the server waiting for you to cut into your steak to make sure it's cooked the way you ordered it but that was not the case. So when it was mostly rare when he cut into it, not even medium rare, he was extremely unhappy. I ordered lobster which came out dry and spongey and there was no butter (keep in mind I was still waiting for the butter he was supposed to bring for the bread). I also ordered the cream corn brulee. Just having a dish like this last week at another steakhouse I was excited to see it as a side. The actual dish was rather lackluster and did not have any sweet flavor or topping. Some of the corn was scorched but there was definitely no sugar topping. From the point the food was dropped off until our server came to check on us was more than 30 minutes. I was hoping to get the butter that was supposed to come with the lobster thinking it might improve the taste. But by this time my husband, who gave up waiting for the server to come over so he could send the steak back, was almost finished, leaving a lot on his plate since it was rare and not at all what he likes. You can see from the photo that it is definitelynot medium. With how slow the service was so far, and still never getting the butter for the bread, I didn't want to make him wait for me to eat my meal. I asked the server to box it up knowing I was not going to eat it. Before he walked away I asked if it should have come with butter. He said yes, looked at the plate and not seeing any said "they must have put it on top already." I said it definitely did not have butter on it. At this point I'm thinking there must be a butter shortage at this restaurant. I also mentioned the lack of caramelized sugar topping on the corn. He pointed at the scattered black charred pieces of corn and said "That's it. They don't want to make it too sweet so they only put a sprinkle of sugar here and there." I know every chef has different was of making things but the top did not in any way have a brulee flavor, look, or texture. I will say the cocktail I ordered was delicious and saved the night from being completely regrettable but was definitely not worth the experience of poor service and food.
