As a massive fan of New Mexico Hatch Chiles, my absolute favorite time of year is their annual festival in August. Central Market hauls in crates of fresh chiles straight from New Mexico, and the aroma of them roasting outside is heavenly! I always stock up on fresh chiles to roast at home and explore all the creative Hatch-infused products they develop. Beyond the food, both Central Market locations in Austin offer live music performances, which creates such a vibrant and upscale community vibe. Whenever I'm having a bad day, a stroll through their beautifully arranged aisles of fresh vegetables and flowers instantly lifts my spirits.
