From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, relaxed, and full of Texas charm. I ordered the salmon omelette, and let me tell you—it was absolutely next level. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, fresh ingredients, and hands down one of the best breakfast dishes I’ve had in a long time. Every bite was spot on. The service was excellent, the food came out hot and fresh, and the overall experience exceeded expectations. If you’re staying nearby—or even if you’re not—The Blue Lacy is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would! 👏🍳🐟

Food and coffee is always fantastic, but what truly sets Blue Lacy apart from the rest is the customer service. Although his name escapes me, the gentleman behind the bar (who could probably pass for Santa’s “cool brother”) truly loves his work and it shows. Great at his job, Super friendly, and just a good guy. Even if my next stay in Austin is somewhere besides Origin (which is also a great place, BTW), i’ll probably make it a point to swing by Blue Lacy.

We had great service from entering the doors to leaving. Alejandra was our server and she was bright and joyful! Will definitely return!

I’m very curious what the performance would’ve been had there been more customers. Either way, our server (Carmel) gave 10/10 service from conversation to humor to remembering requests and being friendly. Extra points for being able to handle friendly banter. Food was great, ordered a breakfast bowl, pancakes, and had some Texas fries. The breakfast bowl was amazing until it wasn’t, one of the ingredients offset the taste at the end. Fries and pancakes were as good as they should be. The menu isn’t as price friendly, could be better. No complaints otherwise, def recommend.
