  SOFT DRINKER BEWARE: while visiting this Chick-fil-A in North Austin recently I found out something that upset me a little bit. I ordered the bacon egg cheese biscuit meal and asked for a Coke instead of coffee. I am not a big coffee drinker and since I already had some coffee that morning I wanted a soft drink instead. The server asked what size I wanted and I told him that whatever size the price of the meal allowed that's what I'll take. While waiting for my meal I looked at the receipt and notice a 10-cent up charge for the coke. I went back and asked about it he said it was policy to upcharge for a soft drink I said you mean if I would have gotten coffee there would not have been an upcharge yes that is our policy was the reply. If he would have just mentioned at the time when I questioned about the drink size there would be a 10-cent up charge I don't think I would have been upset. My usual protest for this kind of bad service is do not clean up after myself and leave it for the staff to clean or Bus the table. I once saw at a walk up counter style restaurant that had a sign that said your mother doesn't work here clean up after yourself my reply was neither do I. I know it's stupid but I figure that the time it takes for one of the staff to clean my table I got my 10 cents back. Again had they just told me up front about the up charge I would not have been upset and I wouldn't be writing this review.

  Ate breakfast here today. The spicy chicken biscuits are SO good, along with the hash brown nuggets, and the coffee was good, too. And friendly, service-oriented staff in a clean building.

  If you are ordering for lunch be aware that they will prioritize every dine-in order over any takeout order. I ordered 1 chicken sandwich togo on the app, which I saw them put on the “ready” line about a minute after I arrived. I then had to watch as multiple dine-in orders were physically placed in front of mine, and every other mobile order, for 10 minutes (no exaggeration) so that the runner would take those first. Finally, once there happened to be no dine-in orders ready to go out, they began calling mobile orders. The sandwich was great when I finally got it though, and I’ve never had any issues with the breakfast shift.

  10:45 am on 2/18 - Person working the drive through counter just made me feel unimportant in any way. She couldn't be bothered. I even thanked her for her time and when she blew me off I stated "i can clearly see you're very busy today" as I was one of two cars in the drive through. She looked at me like I was from another planet. Also, fries were cold. Isn't this chick-fil-a? So weird to come to a chick -fil-a and be met without anything other than a genuine smile and great food. The culture at this location is off. Won't be back.
