  Stopped in here recently and found the food was super mediocre for the price point - $12 for carrots?? Insane! The wine selection was pretty good so would be an OK spot for a drink if you’re in the area but wouldn’t go out of your way

  I just love this place! I've visited many times, ordered different menu items, and have really enjoyed everything I tried. The wine by the glass is great for the price point. I recommend for brunch, an elevated lunch, or a casual but refined dinner.

  Phenomenal French onion soup! And a pretty hefty portion :) Austin lacks in traditional French fare, but this place is doing a good job. Nice, intimate space to grab a coffee or some yummy French food.

  Good renditions of french country classics. Not over salted, which is an amazing thing to find among the restaurant scene in this town (you can always add salt, people). The cassoulet, bread, boquerones, escargot, steak frites, french onion soup were all good. Thankfully they also have PEI moules frites (had run out by the time i tired to order). Will return, especially for lunch.

  Went here for the first time for an anniversary dinner. We enjoy finding new places off the beaten path with something unique offering and this place checked all the boxes. The food was outstanding…starting with pomme dauphine, followed by the half chicken and cassoulet, all excellent. We had great service and pleasant conversation with Paden and ended with an amazing slice of GF coffee cake. Would have liked an espresso but the espresso machine was shut down for the day. A really nice experience and BDP is going in our regular rotation. Mr
