Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers frequently praised the food as delicious and fresh, though there were complaints about inconsistent quality and incorrect orders.
Service Experience
While many reviews highlighted friendly and professional service, there were notable complaints about rude management and poor customer service in some instances.
Cleanliness
The restaurant was often described as clean and well-maintained, contributing positively to the overall dining experience.
Order Accuracy
Several customers reported issues with order accuracy, including missing items and incorrect orders, though many noted that staff were quick to rectify mistakes.
Pricing Concerns
Some customers expressed that the prices were high for fast food, but many felt the quality justified the cost.

The manager often on duty, Taylor, I believe her name is, is terrible at having basic accountability with herself and how she treats customers. She says one thing but often means another and I even retrieve the sense overhearing her do this with other customers.
She is the most disingenuous employee I've had the displeasure of dealing with perhaps of any business I've ever sttended. Fire her, stat, or move her to something more her speciality. She shouldn't be in customer service if she cannot perform her due responsibilities to maintain customer service while she is on duty.
Everyone deserves a job, but people also deserve a healthy, safe atmosphere and if someone is fostering that opposite of that, they can be doing something else, and a better role would be suited for a manager so out of touch with customer service.
I don't want anything to do with this Whataburger while she works there.
