  Heard a lot about Portillos and was surprised to find one in DFW. Of course, I went to a hot dog place to get a burger, but it was worth it! We were there on a slow night, so plenty of space in the huge dining room. Service was a little perfunctory, but the food was on point, and Ioved the crinkle cut fries!

  So I think I figure out the issues with the italian beef sandwiches..They are using too much water in the gravy dip is why it doesn't taste good throwing the sandwich off...I believe they mixing too much water with the gravy dip because they're trying to stretch the product due to getting there products straight from chicago..Hope someone is reading this is encouraged to make that slight change and USE LESS WATER because use real chicagoans know

  I dont rember what I order because it'll looked like a 2 year old made but I can guarantee that a 2 year old could make better without trying it was cold and barley cooked. There was a bun but wasn't even cut all the way through and the meat was shoved in there and it made it look really disgusting. I barley could even eat it.

  This was the worst experience in all my years of eating out. It was totally miserable. We went because my daughter's school had a fundraiser there. They were not busy. The lady taking orders did not know how to key orders into the registrar. We ordered a chicken strips kids meal, and she put in an adult order of 8 strips in. We ordered meals and was charged for each item. She totally left my husband's meal off the order. It was the worst $70 I have spent.

  For the price everything costs, I expected a lot more. I had one of the burgers...it had no seasoning whatsoever, the bread was very soggy. The onion rings were okay. I was very disappointed considering how much they charge for their combos. Their staff was very nice. The place was clean and welcoming. If their food had been better, I would have loved it but, just can't get past getting McDonalds level food on those prices.
