Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Numerous customers reported slow service, long wait times, and rude staff, particularly during busy hours.

I’m pregnant & was craving whataburger so bad! This definitely hit the spot 😍 workers were super nice, food wasn’t the fastest but that’s to be expected when it’s made to order! And when I tell you everything tasted SO good! Definitely will be back!!

After a double shift at my work I was starving for a burger. Went over there, took a minute to get my food, but I wasn’t really in a rush. Took a bite of my burger. Oh man…this was THE burger. That burger after a long shift and you’ve been starving all day for. Fries were hot as hell but I didn’t care. Sweet tea cold and tasted like heaven! Don’t know what y’all put in that burger but idc! I’d eat it in a heartbeat to experience it all over again

Today is the 3rd time that I attempted to get breakfast and went through the drive-thru, only to sit there for 10 mins. I even drove bac, then forward to trigger the system, and still nobody responded. I drive away only to see there wasn't even any cars in the drive-thru line, but the lazy employees were standing there talking in the drive-thru window with each other. I will never stop at this one again. 3 times now, seems like their morning staff is just lazy, it's always been between 7-7:30 so no excuse, they are open at that time.

Today, December 24th the worst service ever.
Closing hours are 6 pm, we got here a little before 5 pm, and the staff was already mopping, all staff had an attitude, including the manager, who closed the doors at 5:15 and was being rude to anyone walking through the doors.
My oder was incorrect, and when I asked for napkins, i was told they didn't have any and laughed at me like I was asking f9r something that I should had not expect with the meals.
I'm sure the staff will remember me, now, and the bad treatment they were giving everyone that walked into the door after 5 pm.
How dare, employees think they can scream at customers about what door to use, or that they cannot dine in, at 5pm, when the restaurant closes at 6.
But if the manager was mistreating the customers, what do you expect from the hourly employees, not a question.
Just something to think about.
