Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers reported issues with food freshness, including cold and improperly prepared items.

WARNING: Avoid this Whataburger at all costs. The management here is absolutely unacceptable.
For the last five visits in a row, this location has messed up my order every single time. Not once have they gotten it right. This time was the worst: my wife brought home my order and there was hair in my food. She went back to get it corrected, and somehow they messed up the order again.
While she was there, the staff was openly laughing at their own manager, Nataly, saying she didn’t know how to do her job. That tells you everything you need to know about how chaotic and poorly run this place is.
I drove up myself and waited 10 minutes for Nataly to even acknowledge me. The moment I said, “This is ridiculous,” she suddenly decided to speak—clearly only because I complained.
I told Nataly the truth:
I have quietly tolerated this location messing up my order five separate times.
I never complained.
I never left a bad review.
I never called corporate.
I simply asked them to fix the food they got wrong.
But this time—**hair in my food, repeated mistakes, and a manager who can’t manage her own staff—**was the breaking point.
When I asked for a refund, Nataly told me she would only refund ONE meal, the one we brought back, even though this location’s incompetence has repeatedly cost me gas, time, and frustration. I explained all of this, and she still refused. She stood on her decision, even though I spend $400–$500 a month at Whataburger.
So let me be clear:
This location has terrible management, unprofessional staff, zero accountability, and absolutely no respect for loyal customers.
I will 100% be contacting corporate regarding this situation.

Honey , the name of the lady working nights is really sweet . She went over and beyond for me and my woman making sure everything was to our expectations. Honey deserves a raise because it's women like that keep us coming back.
