Recently, when I’ve been going in one of the self checkout employees (I believe her name tag says Debbie and she is an older woman with short hair) has been very rude and disrespectful. This past week, I went grocery shopping in the evening and I ended up buying a bottle of wine. Since it was evening, only the self checkout was available and you need the employee to verify your ID before you checkout. Debbie (as I believe her name to be) ignored the call for help from the resister and I had to ask her to come help. She rolled her eyes at me and made a comment about me, a grown woman, purchasing wine. This is the third instance of something like this occurring with her. I come in at least once a week to grocery shop and either this lady knows who I am or just acts this way with all customers. In the future, I hope to avoid all interaction with her, as she makes the shopping experience very unpleasant.
