- JAJoel ArgoNov 15, 20254.0I like Dunkin' because I can get a donut or eclair that isn't sickly sweet pretty much anytime of the day, provided they haven't run out of my favorite Boston Kreme, Eclair, or plain old cake. Many, and I mean many years ago, they were consistently good. Now, ever since Starbucks came along, I feel like Dunkin' has succumbed to the pressure of competition and lost what made them a good doughnut franchise. Like this trip, the Boston Kreme was very good, the cake, not so much, a bit dry. Hopefully the shops can figure out how to provide fresh doughnuts throughout the day, if not they probably won't make it. Just my two cents.
