  Finally a store close to my house. We don’t have to travel several miles to shop groceries. Additionally, I’m impressed with the variety of fresh flowers. And how fresh their fruits are. When their pineapple ripens, it turns yellow as should be, it doesn’t turn brown like the other grocery store whose name I will not mention. Overall, I’m impressed with this stores products and their service.

  While I enjoy having a store close to home, yall need a better communication system when it comes to having an order delivered. First time I placed a delivery order, your system flagged my payment even though I was using tom thumb cash and I had to go pick it up the next day and i had to wait while the rest of my order was shopped. Never got my credit for delivery fee and tip. Now I place an order for delivery over two hours ago and it took me calling and asking about my order for it to even start getting shopped. Asked to speak with a manager who never once said they were sorry. She just talked to me like I was a child. I'll place my delivery orders with somewhere else in the future

  Don't call the store if you need help. I called the customer service team and was told by a team member they would get right back to me. After being on hold for 7 minutes, they picked up and asked if I had been helped yet. I told them not yet, and they said okay and put me on hold again. After another 8 minutes I gave up. I see some good reviews about the store on here. Their customer service manager is obviously not as good as their floor manager.

  Waited till today to check the new store and was disappointed. Starting with the produce department the grapes were so old the stems were all dried up, lemons were way past their prime, no bulk carrots only organic available at a higher cost and also no regular Italian parsley only organic available again! Snow Peas with an expiration date of 3/30 today’s date is 3/29. The kids working there while very polite could not give answers to people asking questions about items they were looking for. Saw a bunch of VIP’s in the aisles and was asked if everything was okay but when confronted with a negative, showed no signs of concern or apologies, just a blank look and said maybe it was the wrong season for ?? Grapes, lemons, who knows. Thumbs down Tom Thumb, the Tom Thumb on Cross Timbers Road got you beat. I won’t even mention the traffic getting there. I will return to my other choices for my grocery shopping.

  We had the best experience with the bakery. We came in on Monday to order my daughter & son’s birthday cake for their party on Saturday. When we got there to pick up the cake at the time we agreed with the baker on, the cake wasn’t quite finished being decorated. No big deal, i had a few other items i needed so i went and shopped. When i came back at the time i was told it would be ready the second time, it was still not quite finished. The bakery manager came to speak with me and apologized for the inconvenience (i think she could tell i was stressed. I wasn’t angry, just stressed because it was cutting close to our party start time) They ended up comping the cake!! I did not ask for anything nor was i upset it was taking longer than expected, they did it out of the kindness of their hearts. The cake looked phenomenal when we received it and our kids and party quests were pleased with the taste!! We will only be ordering our cakes from Tom Thumb moving forward!
