  The reason we chose this place was its next to the hotel and didn't have a wait. Bread was good to start and the Rattlesnake bites were very good but that's about it . The Potato Soup tasted like crap just about as it looked. I think we took one bite and pushed it off to the side quickly. We ordered the 22oz Porterhouse. It was very thin and extremely over seasoned. What ever happened to SPG and cook. Im not sure why anyone would season a porterhouse that much but it was hard to finish. I asked a manager for a straw for my 4yo drink and never received one at all. We will never go back.

  I’m honestly so annoyed! I DoorDash orders salt grass ALL THE TIME. They pick and choose when thy want to add in the bread and butter. Mind you, that’s the first thing I look forward to eating when I get my order. And I am now pregnant and I’ve been ordering my steak “well” the past THREE TIMES IVE ORDERED. And EVERYTIME I get my food delivered, the steak is LEAKING blood, it’s pink ALL THROUGHOUT , and it almost makes me sick eating. And not to mention half the time the workers don’t even give the dasher the drink. So there’s been more times than I can count that they’ve forgotten that .

  Had a great experience at Saltgrass Steak House in Amarillo! The T-bone was absolutely amazing perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The ribeye was just as impressive, tender and seasoned just right. On top of that, the service was outstanding attentive, friendly, and made the whole meal even better. Definitely one of the best steak spots in Amarillo. Highly recommend

  Passing through town. After a long 9 hour drive, we stopped for dinner at 5pm. Asked waiter about the early dinner menu until 6pm. The difference between the early menu and main dinner menu made the early more expensive . Didn’t make sense; so we just ordered off the main menu. We ordered salads and didn’t get the opportunity to finish them before the main course arrived . My husband ordered his salmon well done , it was barely cooked and we told the waited ; no compensation. The entire service and food was very disappointing for the cost . The waiter didn’t understand the menu and didn’t understand what service is about . Would recommend others to go to the next door steak house .

  We went in Valentine’s evening and expected it to take longer than normal due to the crowd. I was amazed at the teamwork and efficiency we witness with waitstaff and management. Food was delicious and service was 10/10!
